On Saturday, May 18, 2013, the East Bay High School Student Government Association is hosting the second annual 5K4Q Run at E.G. Simmons park. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Bloomingdale Library Survivor.
As a group they seek to bring her identity back as a fellow East Bay student, where some of her best memories were made before the attack changed her life forever. Their goal is to raise additional funds to support her costly medical care that continues to help her to recover.
The students are seeking the support of companies and individuals. They need financial contributions to help them buy needed supplies for the event, such as t-shirts, fliers, water and snacks. Also, they are looking for any donated products that can be raffled at the event to raise additional funds. Sponsors will be advertised at the event.
