Vanna,
Once again I want to express my appreciation for your time and my admiration for your strength and faith. One of the comments I most often receive is people cannot understand how a mother can deal with such a tragedy. Now I am able to tell them this mother is very special. She has an enormous capacity for love, forgiveness and tremendous faith. You remind me a lot of one of my favorite sayings:
Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right.
Love the ones who don’t just because you can.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Kiss slowly.
Forgive quickly.
God never said life would be easy.
He just promised it would be worth it.
I wrote several stories so I will send them to you one at a time. They didn’t print them all in the paper but they put them on tbo.com. Out of respect for you and your family, for the first time they prohibited people from making comments at the bottom of the stories. However, I’m told they received a record number of hits on the Web site.
I will continue praying with you for the miracle I know God will grant you.
Love,
D’Ann
